Few masters never let the audience forget that performing classic songs like “Summertime” and “My Funny Valentine” can still be a genuine art form, and one of the true greats lives right here in Victoria. Joe Coughlin has a spectacular voice that has taken him to North America’s finest clubs and on tour with legendary artists such as Dizzy Gillespie and Woody Herman. Joe celebrated a quarter-century of singing jazz last year by recording Things Turn Out That Way, his sixth – and best – CD (which is saying something!).
