on sale 3/9 @ 10am An alternative metal/Goth band from Milan, Lacuna Coil has done the almost unthinkable for an Italian band—it’s sold a quarter million copies of its second full-length, Comalies, in the U.S. alone. The six-piece unit, which features the female/male harmonies of Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro, broke onto the hard rock scene with Comalies in 2004. Headbanger’s Ball airtime, Ozzfest appearances, and headlining club tours in the U.S. and Europe followed. In early 2006, Lacuna Coil released Karmacode, the highly anticipated follow-up to Comalies, and response was instantaneous and enthusiastic.
