A concert featuring the music of Brazil for guitars and choir - a unique concept with dazzling results - especially when it features a renowned Brazilian guitar duo and a celebrated Vancouver choral group. Considered one of the world's most popular and virtuosic guitar duos, brothers Sérgio and Odair Assad have performed worldwide with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and Paquito D'Rivera. Joining the Assad brothers for a program of contemporary Brazilian classical music are the glorious voices of the Vancouver Cantata Singers, one of the most popular local choirs for more than forty years.
