Date Correction as of 11/21/06 Black Lips have a reputation as one of the wildest acts on the East Coast. We’re not saying they’ve been banned from some clubs but, well, you know… some bar managers just don’t care for the antics of the young Atlanteans, whose shows might include anything from nudity to fist fights (usually between band members), all in the name of good, grimy rock ’n’ roll fun. All of this is in service to Black Lips’ early garage rock and ’60s psychedelia, updated with a healthy dose of attitude.
