Of course, he also has his own solo career, a career that has been as adventurous as it has been successful. With Colin James and The Little Big Band 3, his latest and 10th album, he returns to the jump blues and hard R ‘n’ B the Vancouver-based Colin has explored on 1993 and 1998 albums. A cover of Solomon Burke’s emotive “If You Need Me”, the record’s first single, is already shooting up Canadian radio charts.
