Event Description
Arts & Industry Open House - Rock Bay Square Victoria, BC - November 17 and 17, 2017 - Tucked in among the recycling depots just east of the Bay Street Bridge, a nondescript, three story building buzzes daily with creative activity. Here, First Nations artists carve modern versions of traditional masks, painters daub oil and acrylic paints on canvas, leather crafter sew belts and bags. On November 17 and 18, twenty three artists and makers at Rock Bay Square - from furniture makers to jewelers, to makers of re-usable bees wax food wrap - are opening their studio doors to the public, just in time for the holiday season.
