NOTES: The VCC Spring concert this year on May 18th at 7:00 pm in Alix Goolden Hall (Pandora at Quadra) will be celebrating Mozart’s 250th anniversary, and the choir’s 5th anniversary. The special Guest Artists will be internationally-known Benjamin Butterfield and his wife Anne Grimm.

The concert will be in three parts:

• the first includes a variety of Mozart pieces performed by all three choirs and our special Guest Artists
• the second section will be a performance of the opera “Bastien and Bastienne “ (written by Mozart when he was 12 years old)
• the third and final portion will be a tribute to the various surprise guest artists we have had in our five years: Raffi, Louise Rose, Colin Skinner and Barbara Livingston. You can be sure that we will also be continuing the tradition of a surprise Guest Artist for this, our fifth year.
