Magnet Magazine extolls that Lions In The Street are “What the Stones were, what the Dandy Warhols should’ve been.” Having already shared stages Jet, Kings of Leon, Ambulance LTD, The Dirtbombs, The Pony’s, The Zutons, and Robbers on High Street, LITS are embarking on their first US tour this summer. Managed by veteran music manager Allen Kovac (Motley Crue, The Bee Gees, Blondie), the band was recently featured on the Fader Magazine’s influential “Tripwire Push Upstairs” Podcast and played CMJ in NYC.

Side with art against commerce, good against evil, with the little guy against the big guy, and with rock and roll against everything else. Join Lions In The Street as they celebrate their EP release with a rock'n'roll extravaganza with special guests Grass City & The BTUs at the Lamplighter, on May 20th! LIONS IN THE STREET create rock'n'roll that is both fierce and genuine, invoking vintage Stones swagger and raunchy boogie rock 'n' roll with lean attack and ass-kicking rhythmic sense. Formerly known as The Years, the Lions are managed by 10th St Entertainment (Motley Crue, Blondie, Meatloaf). They recorded their new songs using the only piece of recording equipment available to them: a cheap 8-track unit and some half-broken microphones.
