*Please note, this show is not included in the Full Fest or Full Fest VIP Festival pass.*In the spirit of celebrating musical community and truly global, cross-genre influence of Jamaican-rooted music, Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival is proud to introduce our first official INTERNATIONAL REGGAE JAM. Anchored by a Murderer's Row of some of the city's finest musicians and featuring some of our community's brightest voices – like Olli Happyness, Kady Savard and Caleb Braveheart – the International Jam is a fresh opportunity for performers to come together in ways never seen before and create a wholly unique experience. With an incredible lineup of international acts on the Festival, you never know who else may show up to the Jam and what musical flavours they may throw into the sonic stew. It only make sense that APEX BREAKS – the psychedelic jungle-funk monster born of the coming together of some of the best players from some of Victoria's most legendary bands – would be opening things up and getting this party started. Few bands have the instant connection with their audience like Apex Breaks. Every time they take the stage, they attack with heavy funk and an unbridled sense of fun as they lead the audience through galaxies of grooves.
Come celebrate night 1 of Victoria's 23rd Annual Ska & Reggae Festival with a night of music that will only exist for one night in one space.
