Join Opera Mariposa for an opera-themed summer extravaganza! This August, the company that "stands at the forefront of Vancouver's opera scene" (The Vancouver Project) is fundraising for their 2019-2020 season with a sumptuous costumed concert, presented alongside their first-ever costume and prop sale.

The sale starts at noon, and the concert is at 3pm. Take in a dazzling performance of operatic highlights, including hits from Carmen, La bohème, The Magic Flute and many more. Then stick around to shop Mariposa's award-winning costume and prop collection, as well as beautiful clothing, collectibles and curiosities from other vendors. You won't want to miss your chance to revel in an afternoon of beautiful music, and to shop ‘til you drop!

Please note: Mariposa will be accepting both cash and credit card during the sale and concert, but the concession stand will be cash only. The venue is wheelchair-accessible, including accessible restrooms. We ask that patrons help us to maintain a scent-reduced space by avoiding the use of fragrances and scented products.
