Event Description

The Impromaniacs Present:
The Emperor’s New Script

Special guest Dave Morris joins the Impromaniacs for improv event

VICTORIA – The Impromaniacs are proud to present a fun, affordable event
featuring improv guru Dave Morris, for two shows on Saturday, April 9, at the
Fernwood Community Association (1923 Fernwood).

“Dave has been a mainstay of the Victoria International Improv Festival the last
two years, and we are very happy to get him over here,” said Impromaniacs
managing director Jonathan Argue.  “His energy, spirit, humour and imagination
are what improv is all about.  And he plays well with others, especially us.”

The Emperor’s New Script will be completely improvised.  Nothing will be
pre-rehearsed.  “That’s the joy of improv,” added performance director Peter
Abrahams. “We will create something from nothing, and be entertaining doing it.”

There will be two shows: One at 7:30 pm and one at 9:30 pm.  Tickets will be $7,
and $5 for students and seniors.  Tickets will be available at the door.  They
can be reserved by leaving a message at 388-3658.  Reserved tickets must be
picked up 15 minutes before the show.
