This sparkling seasonal favourite will ignite your Christmas spirit. The profound beauty and scope of this work brings to life the story of Christmas. Cantatas 1, 3 & 6 of Weihnachts-Oratorium (Christmas Oratorio) are effervescently jubilant in mood with Bach's masterful writing for both voice and instruments, including the brilliance of trumpets and Baroque timpani. Directed by Lars Kaario, the professional orchestra will be joined by the Choirs of Capilano University and the beautiful voices of guest soloists ~Rachel Buttress, soprano
