BIO\
Surreal and shimmering, VERSA performances capture eyes and ears with powerful instrumental music and responsive live projections. Their psychedelic performance employs the physics of music, rendering low frequency sound visible as it is passed through a subwoofer into a colourful liquid basin. VERSA is an audio/visual collective based in Guelph and Toronto, led by artist Monika Hauck and musician Alex Ricci. VERSA has performed at numerous Canadian music and arts events including Hillside Festival (Guelph ON), Hold Fast Contemporary Art Festival (St. John’s NL), Grickle Grass Festival (London ON), Kazoo! Fest (Guelph ON), Night\Shift Place-Hacking Festival (Kitchener ON), Wavelength Music Festival (Toronto ON), and Nuit Blanche (Ottawa/Gatineau, ON).

Inspired by the Pacific-Northwest and embracing technology, Nashlyn blends together her singer-songwriter origins and her budding love for music production. Intricate lyrics and sophisticated melodies blend into a wave of synthesizers and mid to downtempo backing beats. As a multi-instrumentalist, Nashlyn entertains on stage by drifting between instruments from electric guitar to synthesizer triggers and vocal experimentation.
