Event Description

An ecclectic group of string wizards (and the Tex Mex world's hottest accordion player!) come together to present an evening of ear candy from various roots music traditions. This is guaranteed to be an exciting evening of music you don't want to miss!

Featuring:

Grammy Award Winners Max and Josh Baca - together they created Los Texmaniacs, the new masters of Bajo Sexto and Tex Mex Accordion.

Multiple Juno Award Nominee and Leo Award Winner Celso Machado is a virtuoso Brazilian guitarist, percussionist, multi-instrumentalist and singer.

Multiple Maple Blues Award Nominee, Cecile Doo Kingue is one of Canada’s most electrifying and versatile guitarists / singer-songwriters blending blues, afro-roots and soul.

With nearly a century of music making between them, Doug Cox and Sam Hurrie are avatars of pretty well every style of blues/roots/acoustic music that ever made you want to tap your toes or clap your hands and shout for joy.
