The Choir: www.thechoiryyj.com

Victoria’s The Choir is a non-auditioned, community choir that sings all-original arrangements of pop, folk and indie music. What started as a small project based out of Larsen Music in early 2013 turned big in no time: 100 great people who love to sing their hearts out! The Choir has had a string of very fun and successful concerts, and performances at Rifflandia 2014 through 2106, and the 2015 Campbell Bay Music Festival. They've taken the stage with Hank Pine, Adam Cohen, Kathryn Calder, Pharis and Jason Romero, Choir!Choir!Choir!, Aidan Knight and more. The Choir is directed by Marc Jenkins and accompanied by Danuel Tate.

Rae Spoon: www.raespoon.com

Rae Spoon is an award-winning Canadian musician, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and author. They have released eight solo albums spanning folk, indie rock and electronic genres over the past twelve years and have toured across Canada and internationally. Their live shows swing between audience singalongs and large danceable arrangements, which keep them playing everywhere from folk festivals and house concerts to rock concerts and theatres. Rae was the subject and composer of the score for the National Film Board–produced musical-documentary My Prairie Home, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2014. They have been nominated for two Polaris Prizes, a Lambda Literary Award, a Western Canadian Music Award, a CBC Radio 3 Bucky Award and a MOTHA Transgender Musician of the Year Award.

Elli Hart (Dirty Mountain): http://dirtymountain.ca/

Hailing from Victoria BC, Dirty Mountain’s sound is heavily infused with harmony-driven melodies and timeless storytelling. Dirty Mountain is a roots-rock band with underlying blends of country and blues to support the sassy and often gritty messages portrayed in the lyrics. A musical temptress, charismatic songstress, and lyrical adulteress, Elli Hart is the relentless force behind Dirty Mountain. Keeping her in line and providing the strong prowess that runs through the music are Lane Arndt on lead guitar, Gord Light on bass, and Tom Salter on drums.
Dirty Mountain has recorded their debut album with producer Adam Sutherland at Infiniti Studios in Victoria, BC. Their album, 01, will be released on March 18th 2016 and will followed with a Western Canada Album release Tour with Steph Macpherson in April of 2016 and again in July.

Elder Sister Plum: eldersisterplum.com

Elder Sister Plum's tunes go down smooth like a good whiskey. With just her voice and an acoustic guitar or piano, Plum delivers wistful melancholy ballads followed by groovy top-tapping tunes, moving into sombre hair-raising stories of sailors lost at sea. After traveling and performing throughout Canada for many years, Plum has settled in Victoria, B.C., where she recently released her fifth album, At The Edge Of The Woods. Plum continues to write and perform regularly in and around the city.

Drawing from personal reflection as well as a love of folklore and myth, Elder Sister Plum's swashbuckling folk lullabies offer a treat for every listener.
