The Victoria based Latin-Jazz acoustic guitar duo, Los Gringos Locos, featuring Al Sabourin and Mike Sampson has been entertaining audiences with their unique music since 2000.They have been featured on the A Channel morning show and have received favorable air play on local radio stations.
Their music has also been featured on a number of documentary videos.
Venues that Los Gringos Locos are featured at include: the Victoria International Jazz Festival; the Latin Caribbean Festival; the Classic Boat Festival; the Dragon Boat Races Festival; and the Esquimalt Lantern Festival, the Butchart Gardens, Vista 18, as well as numerous other cafes and private functions.
Los Gringos Locos have released three CDs: “Places We've Been”, “Against the Sky” and “Engage”.
