Event Description
Josef Mieto is a singer and song writer from Ottawa who has recently made Victoria home. Performing as a solo act and with his band The Adelaides since 2010, Josef quickly made a name for himself among Canada's Folk music elite with the release of his highly acclaimed first album 'Bad Eyes' in 2012 and his 2nd album, 'Down Low' last winter. The raw, stripped down minimalist sound instantly conjures up memories of vintage Cohen, Dylan and Drake.Taking the stage with Josef for the second time is Victoria artist and painter, Liz Dempsey. Liz will be joining Josef on stage drawing and creating art in the moment, inspired by the music and the energy of the night.
This music/art collaboration is something that has to be experienced and is unlike anything Victoria has ever seen before.
