Störc
Minimalist piss-and-vinegar rock is alive and kicking, courtesy of Vancouver quartet, störc, who like their name lower case, fuck you very much. A short two years in, the band has just released their freshman full-length and is sure to induce a frenzied dance pit.
Mi'ens
Mi'ens is art-rock/math-rock at its weirdest. Experimental with a side of noise + a side of sparklepop. "Intricate and fantastically full-sounding noisescapes." "Reminiscent of Hella or Don Cab." "Complex conversational playing." "Trippy as f*ck."

Yes Bear
Rainbow metal, reverse sludge, butterfly party. Mathy shredders.
Pale Red
Pale Red used to be White Mink. Myles Black (Pearly Whites), Portia Boehm and Charlotte Coleman make some good sounds. So much riffs. So much radness.
