The Franklin Electric
Event Description
The Biltmore Cabaret & Steam Whistle Pilsner Present:KANDLE & THE KROOKS - Kandle is the project of Victoria native Kandle Osborne, a songstress whose elegiac brand of singing and songwriting reflect a maturity well beyond her years. Kandle and her musical partner Sam Goldberg Jr (Broken Social Scene) complement each other in weaving a haunting world of longing vocals and eerie guitar lines.

LOUISE BURNS - According to Louise Burns Music, the spirit animal hovering above her new album is a Foxx. A John Foxx, to be precise, meaning the impressively cheekboned UK synth pop pioneer who fronted Ultravox in the late ‘70s. You can find a picture of Burns online, standing in a record store, the proud new owner of Foxx’s second solo LP, The Garden. Fittingly, Burns’ sophomore album is partly located in the same time and place.

THE FRANKLIN ELECTRIC - Montreal-based alternative folk-pop band The Franklin Electric turned heads in 2012, claiming first prize in a Nashville song writing competition with the infectious song, “Old Piano”. The group then banded together to lay down their debut album "This is How I Let You Down".
