City Soul Choir

GLOBAL SOUL
A World of Song

Join the choir on a global journey that explores some of the world’s greatest song traditions. The evening's exciting and eclectic program will include soulful music from Haiti, Cuba, Kenya, Spain, Georgia, New Zealand, and other exotic destinations. Including, of course, music from Canada - the Lil'wat First Nations in the West, and Newfoundland outports in the East. In addition to the full choir, the program will also feature our men's ensemble on a Maori song, our women's ensemble on a Georgian song, our chamber ensemble on a Renaissance piece, and the vocal quartet 'What It Is' performing a Macedonian song. Joining the choir are Adam Rohrlick on guitar and Brent Gubbels on bass. We're also thrilled to feature several surprise musicians - all from within the choir. We hope you enjoy our musical destinations - and the journey!
