Vocalist Nikki Yanofsky is best known for her 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics performance of the Canadian Winter Olympic Anthem, “I Believe,” a song that was certified quadruple-platinum for digital downloads in April 2010. Now a seasoned concert and jazz-festival artist, Yanofsky has performed with a number of jazz heavyweights, including Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones and Dianne Reeves. Yanofsky has also recently participated in the all-star Los Angeles tribute to Carole King and is currently in production of a much-anticipated third album that is scheduled to release in late May, just before her TD JazzFest performance. With diverse musical talents and a bottomless pool of creativity, seventeen year old guitarist, Victoria’s Quinn Bachand is one of Canada’s finest award winning young musicians. Teaming up with violinist Richard Moody, they share a common love of Gypsy Jazz music and have formed a sizzling hot west coast jazz manouche ensemble. Brishen recreates the magic of Django Reinhardt, Stephane Grapelli and the Hot Club of France for an unforgettable musical experience. Quinn Bachand lead guitar, banjo/violin, Richard Moody violin, Reuben Wier rhythm guitar, Aaron Watson rhythm guitar/accordion and Sean Drabitt upright bass
