Event Description
Late show: JEFF YOUNGER'S BDAY BASH!!! - Jeff will ring in the 4th decade of his successful attempt to never grow up with THE DEEP END, TIGER PRAWN and BIG BUCK!!THE DEEP END
Led by the amazingly soulful vocalist Dawn Pemberton, The Deep End is a 7-piece funksoul juggernaut who's Booty Shakin' Inspiration, Deep Soul Infection, Sweat Pourin' Sweet Groovedown Funkelation will make you want to dance your face off. Whilst slamming out the hits of artists like Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone and Tower of Power, the following, dancing your face off scenario has occurred with startling regularity.
Audience Member A is unable to resist hitting the dance floor upon feeling the groove of The Deep End. Audience Member A sweats to the point of embarrassment and as a result of their euphoric lack of physical awareness, does not realize they have fallen to the ground whilst "shaking it". In their groove channeling, booty bouncing trance, Audience Member A continues to dance whilst making no effort to become upright again, and after a short duration of this questionable behavior, Audience Member A does indeed dance their face off. It's not pretty, but man is it fun.

BIG BUCK
Led by Guitarist/Composer Alvaro Rojas, Big Buck fuses the grooves and psychedelic textures of dub reggae with tones inspired by spaghetti western soundtracks, and a touch of drone and noise. In other words, a ménage à trois between King Tubby, Ennio Morricone and Black Sabbath.
