Event Description

Trumpets get messy! It’s a fact of life, but a clean trumpet is much

more fun to play! Does it smell a little funky after a long summer in

its case? Does it make a weird buzzing noise? That might be the

sandwich you ate before your last jazz band practice in June. We can

fix it with a little soap and water and I'll show you how!





When: October 14th 2-3pm

+ 15 min crash course with the addition of only $5 (Start at 1:45)

Required Cleaning Equipment:

Mouthpiece Brush ($1.95),

Cleaning Snake ($6.95),

Selmer Slide Grease ($2.75),

and an old bath towel from home.

Come hang out for an afternoon as we take those trumpets apart and put

them back together. We'll listen to some famous trumpet players and

chat about music as we go. Then we'll finish off the day by putting

our clean and shiny trumpets to work and play a song together. The

cleanest trumpet choir in town!



Every level of player will find this workshop helpful. All welcome!

The mass trumpet piece we play at the end will be an arrangement made

specifically for the players who enroll!
