Legendary Toronto band Skydiggers will be performing a rare two-night stand at the Railway Club. With a career that stretches back to the ‘80’s, they’ve consistently created instantly memorable songs that have turned a new leaf on Canada's folk and country music traditions. They are truly a Canadian icon, and are still a force to be reckoned with, as evidenced by their new recording, Northern Shore.
Says Alan Anton, bassist for the Cowboy Junkies: "We've always loved their music. They've kind of nailed this area of music that I don't think anybody else in Canada has come close to. I think they're one of the most underrated bands in Canada too."
