Event Description
UVic Global Medical and Dental Brigades is presenting their 3rd annual Black and White Casino Night Fundraiser.The semi-formal dress event will feature poker and blackjack tables, a silent auction, live music, as well as a fully stocked liquor bar and dancing after the silent auction and casino is done.
Everyone will be given play money for the casino tables upon entrance, but if you bring an item to donate, such as clothes, shoes, eyeglasses etc, the item will be assessed and you will be given extra play money!
The top three winners at the end of the Casino will win prizes!
Silent auction items range from free haircuts, tons of different gift certificates, a bus ride to Mt. Washington, a cabin stay up at Mt. Washington, horizon air flight tickets, and guided kayak tours among many many other prizes.
All proceeds go towards the purchase of medicines and equipment to be brought down and used/distributed in poverty stricken rural areas of Honduras.
SO, dress up in your fancy black and white themed dresses and bowties, and have yourself A FUN TIME while helping out a GREAT CAUSE.
