Rock.It Boy Entertainment presents a solid double bill of hard rock featuring Virgin Recording artist SAVING ABEL in concert with special guest WE ARE THE FALLEN & SAVENONE on Thursday, July 8th in The Red Room on Richards Street in Vancouver. SAVING ABEL, a solid rocking five man group with rich vocals out of Corinth, Mississippi, was formed in 2004 by singer Jared Weeks and guitarist Jason Null. They released their self-title major label debut album with Virgin Records in 2008, and their southern tinged, radio-friendly sound propelled SAVING ABEL from unknown to everywhere in the world at once with the sexy single “Addicted” which has been certified platinum and has generated an amazing fifty-one million plays on their Myspace site alone (www.myspace.com/savingabel). They have broken sales records and had great fun touring with Nickelback and Papa Roach and are set to release their second album Miss America on June 8th and the first single “Stupid Girl (Only In Hollywood)” is already available for download on iTunes.

WE ARE THE FALLEN is built around the original members of multi-platinum trailblazing band Evanescence, (guitarists Ben Moody and John LeCompt along with drummer Rocky Gray, with enigmatic American Idol finalist Carly Smithson powering the vocal reins of the new group. Respected touring and studio bassist Marty O’Brien (Disturbed and Static-X, among others) rounds out the band which broods deeply with a Goth vibe and a sense of dark and melodramatic theatre. WE ARE THE FALLEN has just released the first album Tear The World Down (Universal Republic 2010) which contains the single “Bury Me Alive.” Dig it!.
