LIONS IN THE STREET create rock'n'roll that is fierce and genuine, invoking vintage Stones swagger and raunchy boogie rock 'n' roll with lean attack and ass-kicking rhythmic sense. Formerly known as The Years, the Lions have shared stages with the likes of Jet, Kings of Leon, Ambulance Ltd, The Dirtbombs and The Zutons and "explode with a Stones/Small Faces onslaught that drips with jubilant passion, as well as very loud guitars played with giddy abandon" (Guitar Player Magazine). GRASS CITY is a cathartic, foot-stompin' jug of musical moonshine -- soul-stirring Southern Doom Blues of the highest order.
