JESSE MATHESON is a highly entertaining folk/comedy singer/songwriter who seeks to fufill a lifelong dream of being on the classic Canadian kids consumer show Street Cents. Sounding "like a wild, wild party when it starts to unwind," he can eat more flapjacks than you can, and recently performed at the Regina Folk Festival. He writes about the Real World as he sees it, which means he's got songs about food, sex, and sexy food... BYO Napkin! His wonderful new CD "Pleasure Pounds" was produced by Caleb Stull (Parlour Steps) and live he's joined by Shawn Killaly on drums, Lara Farcasan on keys and CS Rippin on bass. His influences include Jonathan Richman, Mojo Nixon, Modern Lovers, The Kinks, the Sadies, Walter Cronkite, Kurt Vonnegut, Ron Sexsmith, Joel Plaskett, MAD Magazine & Summer Camp.

The CHOIR PRACTICE (Mint Records) is a musical collective formed of a veritable who's who of the Vancouver indie pop scene, attracting significant media attention when Jarvis Cocker selected them to open his Vancouver concert.

The rogue ensemble performs indie pop songs in a choral style that will make your heart soar with their rich harmonies and sparkling delivery, and their debut CD recalls the vocal tapestry of '60s psych-folk sensations The Free Design combined with the unique approach of the Langley Schools Music Project. The musical collective consists of choirmaster Coco Culbertson (A.C. Newman, The Gay, Tennessee Twin), Larissa Loyva (P:ano, Kellarissa), Ida Nilsen (Great Aunt Ida, Buttless Chaps), Shane Turner (Love & Mathematics), Chris Kelly (Gay Straights), CiTR DJ Scotty "Ska-T" Stewart, Shira Blustein (Blood Meridian), Marcy Emery (Heartbreak Scene), Kurt Dahle (New Pornographers, The Basement, Limblifter), Olivia Fetherstonhaugh (Fanshaw), Jenn Chycoski (Pokiok Falls), Sydney Vermont (Hello Blue Roses), Kristen Halliday (CBC Radio 3 producer), Sidney Vermont, Karin Bubas & Naomi Nepham.

PARLOUR STEPS combine anthemic rock, expansive space-pop, experimental electronica and jazz into their own unique sound coined as Thought Rock. Equal parts rhythm, melody and epiphany, their music is both stormy and playful while unafraid of asking big questions and taking musical risks. Their International Songwriting Competition winning song "Thieves of Memory" can be heard on the TV show "Whistler", the Adidas website and the Sonicbids Listen Volume 2 CD. Expect to hear songs from their latest CD, "Ta Da!" (distributed nationally by Scratch Records) as well as favourites from their first 3 CDs!
