ENIGMATICA ENTERTAINMENT is proud to present one of a series of On the Road to Victoria’s 5th Anniversary Ska Festival Concerts featuring LOS FURIOS - one of Canada’s hottest Latin/reggae/ska bands. They will be joined by Victoria’s ONE DROP that will be celebrating the return from their tour across Canada and the west coast of the North America.

This most anticipated concert takes place–Saturday, March 27th,2004 @ Steamers Pub 570 Yates Street, Victoria, BC. Doors at 9:00pm. Admission is $8.00 for the first 200 persons and $10 thereafter available at the door only!


Los Furios started out a few years ago as a three-piece hip hop/reggae band along the lines of Sublime. Shortly afterwards the Furios before expanding into a six-piece reggae/ska outfit, complete with horns. Los Furios also better represents the Latin influences singer/trombone player and El Salvador native Pedro Alfara brings to the band.

The now well established Latin/ska/reggae/punk band from Vancouver have developed solid fan bases everywhere they play across Canada selling out show after show. Their music portrays different concepts, among them unity, love, and respect. Fans refer to their shows and presence as “a party on stage; with high-energy Latin breakdowns, catchy punk choruses, and reggae/ska jams thrown about their songs.?That all said, you are sure to shake some booty, cheer some beers, and sing a few lines during their set. Recent projects for Los Furios include recording music on CBC’s Justconcerts.com and New Music Canada. ONE DROP

One Drop are musical chameleons equally comfortable playing a ska/reggae show or with a punk band or a hip hop crew. Their music is based in punk but has strong influences in reggae, dub and ska! One Drop has been active on the Victoria scene and has had one tour of Western Canada to date. They will be setting out on their second Canadian tour in early March that will see them go as far east as Winnipeg, Manitoba. After that leg of the tour, they will return and head down the west coast to play some concerts in Seattle and a few others in California before making there way back to Victoria for their grand finale end of tour show at Steamers Pub with Los Furios. One Drop have played all sorts of shows including political rallies at the Victoria Legislature, bars and pubs as well as numerous all ages shows.
