Event Description

Join with Allison Crowe for a musical performance and community sing-along at Nanaimo North Town Centre on December 7th, 2007 at 7:00 PM. It's a joy-filled evening of song with Allison and Santa.

On behalf of Allison, all voluntary donations from the evening’s free event will go to GABA-Oceanside. GABA-O is located in Parksville/Qualicum Beach and operates in partnership with ABA (Applied Behaviour) Learning Centre and the District 69 Family Resource Association (FRA). ABA also operates centres on Vancouver’s mainland.

GABA stands for "Group Applied Behaviour Analysis" and, at Oceanside, the program works with autistic children of ages 3-6 in a pre-school setting. Here’s a fun opportunity to sing-along with one of our finest home-grown performers now celebrated internationally. Allison Crowe has recently returned from an European tour which included a sensational performance at the John Lennon Northern Lights Festival in Scotland. Her concert was described as “awesome” and “spine-tingling” by the Director of the Lennon fest, crowned the UK’s Best New Festival.

Allison’s performance at Nanaimo North Town Centre is part of her holiday-season “Tidings” tour (which includes B.C. performances in Campbell River, Pender Island, Gibsons, Salt Spring Island, Victoria, Gabriola Island and Whistler Mountain).
