A Congress of Strange – A Marathon of the Bizarre! THE GREAT ORBAX SIDESHOW is an incredible comedy stunt show featuring jaw dropping feats and hilarious antics presented in a modern day vaudevillian atmosphere. Drawing equally from the travelling carnivals of the 1930's, vaudeville, horror movies and Saturday morning cartoons, the Great Orbax Sideshow is a one of a kind roller coaster of shock value entertainment!

Professor Burnaby Q Orbax, also known as THE GREAT ORBAX, has a Masters degree in Polymer Physics from the University of Guelph (2002). He has also pulled a monster truck from hooks inserted in his back. Originally a part-time performer of bizarre stunts, on Halloween 2003 he received third degree burns to 11% of his body while performing, did some serious hospital time, and decided to go full-time instead. He does all of the tricks of the trade: gavage, bed of nails, blade walk, glass walk, barbed wire, mousetraps, pincushion, cinder block breaks, and adds a few scientifically impossible twists of his own..

From Texas – the state that gave the world two American presidents from the same family – comes Erik Sprague better known as THE LIZARDMAN, the freak performer best known due for his sharpened teeth, full-body tattoo of green scales and bifurcated tongue. He was a Ph.D. candidate at the University at Albany before beginning his transformation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York but has fully ‘mastered’ and regularly performs many classic sideshow acts such as the human blockhead, fire eating and breathing, sword swallowing, the bed of nails, the Human Dartboard and the insectivore.

THE LIZARDMAN’s appearance is the result of numerous incremental body modifications over the course of several years. More than 650 hours of tattooing, including facial and blackwork tattoos, have created the appearance of lizard-like scales over his entire body. He has stretched earlobes and numerous body piercings. A series of Teflon sub dermal implants cause his eyebrows to have a ridged appearance, four of his teeth are filed into points, and a doctor surgically bifurcated his tongue by using an argon laser.
