Hello punk rock community.

I am writing on behalf of a buch of friends and families that lost the life of a dear friend on January 3rd. Rachel Davis was breaking up a fight in the Gastown area of Vancouver, and was shot in the face and killed. There was also another death of a young man and 4 injured. The outcry of her punk rock familiy and immediate family is requesting an awareness against guns. When kids go out to party and have fun, they don't want to fear for their life. There is too much gun violence in this city of Vancouver, and it needs to stop. Bless this soul for trying to keep the peace, but we will miss her for it.

I would like to start a campaign entitled the "Awareness against guns Crusade" and raise money for the families that lost, as well as bringing the attention to the public and the ..cough.. police, that we need to be heard. Punks have always made a voice for themselves, and now is a chance for us to do it again.
