Since 1993 The Chemainus Theatre Festival has offered regionally and internationally acclaimed theatre without skipping a beat. As one of western Canada's largest performing organizations, our charitable Society welcomes over 70,000 residents and visitors every year. Our patrons enjoy classic and contemporary productions in musical, tribute, dramatic, and comedic style. We are home to a variety of local and travelling artists - talented actors, directors, musicians, and designers - from across North America. They are drawn to us, as our patrons are, by the high quality of our shows and facilities. Theatre-lovers find much to enjoy in the complete Festival experience. Taking time to relax to live music and a delicious meal in the Playbill Dining Room, browsing in the unique BC artisans in the Gallery Gift Shop, and exploring the delights of our town before retiring to rest at the Best Western Plus Chemainus Inn.
