Pacific Baroque Festival 2010 Bach, Buxtehude & Telelmann February 4th to 7th, 2010 Victoria Conservatory of Music Victoria Conservatory of Music Presented by The Victoria Conservatory of Music The 6th Annual Pacific Baroque Festival was a great success – thank you to the artists, the Victoria Conservatory of Music, the sponsors and patrons, and, of course, the audience. View the 2010 Festival Program Pacific Baroque Festival Pacific Baroque Festival This year we expanded the series of concerts to include two special events on Thursday February 4th. A morning concert of Bach, Buxtehude and Telemann with an ensemble from the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, and a special evening concert at Christ Church Cathedral with an amazing performance by acclaimed Belgian organist Bernard Foccroulle. Friday February 5th featured Sand Dalton (oboe) and Anne Grimm (soprano), with the full Pacific Baroque Orchestra. Saturday February 6th welcomed the Victoria Children's Choir Victoria Children's Choir return of the Victoria Children’s Choir and St. Christopher’s Singers with a theatrical version of Telemann’s ‘Der Schulmeister, featuring Paul Winkelmans. As always, the Festival concluded with ‘Choral Vespers & Abendmusik’ at Christ Church Cathedral on Sunday February 7th. A free concert which has become a musical highlight for Victoria.
