Union Pacific Coffee Company was started as a conceptual idea in 2004 with a desire to create a better coffee house for people to enjoy great coffee in a warm atmosphere. After scouring numerous locations in the lower mainland and Vancouver Island, Union Pacific Coffee Co. opened its doors at its first flagship location in Victoria in February of 2006. Union Pacific is situated in the heart of the up and coming design district of downtown Victoria in one of the newly revitalized Chinatown alleyways known as "Dragon Alley". This unique achitectural setting of brick and old wood fir constructed buildings gives Unvion Pacific its foundation for its character location.
