Memory was created by participants at 'Come Make Zines', a workshop by Anne Emberline, produced by Broken Pencil & OCW Magazine, which took place at Project Space, 222 East Georgia Street, Vancouver BC. The even was sponsored by the Magazine Association of BC, and the publications were assembled by Alysia Hayers.

The spine was stitched using a sewing machine.
The event was a collaboration of Broken Pencil and OCW Magazine, as part of Culture Days, and in anticipation of Canzine West that same year.
The flyer for the event reads: Come Make Zines - Drawing, collage and writing with experienced zine-maker Anne Emberline (Pinch zine). The event took place on October 1st, from 3 to 5pm.
