I am a self-taught musician and have been playing music in bands on and off for just over 10 years. My main instrument is bass guitar and I also do a little singing. I am also trying to learn guitar right now. I am not the greatest at coming up with riffs or bass lines on my own, but I can follow what other people are doing quite easily and can improvise easily as well. I used to be able to sing and play bass/guitar, but it's been a while since I did that. However, I would like to try it again sometime.

Currently, I am looking to find a drummer who is close to my age, maybe around 25 to 30, who has his own jam space and is able to use it without getting flack from neighbours. Also, I am looking for someone who has been playing for over 5 years, and is willing to start out practicing covers and eventually write original material. I live in the Victoria area, off of Bay St, and would like to jam with someone who is not too far away.

Some of my influences and favorite bands include Rage Against The Machine, System of a Down, tool, deftones, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and many others. Basically, I like a lot of '90s music, grunge, hard rock, metal, and some punk and alternative.
