Kent McAlister’s “traditional-yet-unorthodox” brand of music stays true to the Roots-Country genre but seamlessly incorporates a number of rule-bending influences such as acoustic punk, traditional jazz, and Spanish flavours. By fusing all of these elements with his witty lyrical observations, McAlister creates songs definitely worth remembering. Kent McAlister & His Band are regular "road warriors" and have quickly established themselves as favorites across Western Canada's touring circuit.
