THE PACK
The Pack is a hip hop group from Berkeley, California.The group consists of Damonte "Lil Uno" Johnson , Brandon "Lil Boss" McCartney, Lloyd "Young L" Omadhebo, Keith "Stunnaman" Jenkins. Lil B and Young L attended Albany High School. Lil Uno and Stunna attended Berkeley High School in Berkeley, California. They all recorded together for over a year at Young L's home studio where they released their first two mixtapes Pack Muzik Vol. 1 and Wolfpack Muzik Vol. 2. When Too $hort signed The Pack to Jive Records, they were all only around 17 years old.Not long after, The Pack created 2006's sneaker anthem, "Vans" and released it via their MySpace page. The song was heard by veteran Oakland rapper Too $hort who then signed them to his Up All Nite Records imprint via Jive Records. The Pack released a seven track EP in 2007 entitled Skateboards 2 Scrapers which included hits such as "Vans" and "I'm Shinin". In 2007, The Pack put out their debut album Based Boys which included the single "In My Car".Recently, The Pack had stated on their MySpace that their next album is scheduled for an early 2009 release. They have posted one song from the album, "Hoes In This House" on their MySpace. However, an album was not released, and no further information on the album was given out as of June 2009.The Pack began recording again throughout 2009. They released the mixtape The Pack Is Back in December 2009, their first set of material in a year.
In March 2010, "Wolfpack Party 2010" was released on iTunes. The new album is slated for a June 2010 release.
