As a master guitarist, instructor and clinician, John is one of the most sought after educators and performers in the area. He has worked with everyone from David Foster - as guitarist in his band Skylark - Sonny Bono - as his guitarist on the television show "Six Million Dollar Man”, Lou Rawls, Ambrosia, Bo Diddley, Chris Vadala and Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot, (footage which appears on their VH-1 "Behind the Music"). In 1982 John was hand picked by Paul Stanley to audition for KISS to replace Ace Frehley but was not chosen. John was chosen to composed a classical & electric guitar duet titled "Jester" for the CD "Trade Winds" featuring chamber music of the U. S. Continental Army Band. John currently serves as principle guitarist for the Army Ground Forces Band in Atlanta, Georgia.
John also served as developer of a contemporary guitar curriculum for the Armed Forces School of Music for which he received an award from the Commandant. John has a BA in Music from Thomas Edison State and has completed his advanced guitar performance education at the Armed Forces School of Music in Virginia.
