The Glorious Sons have etched a name for themselves in the Canadian rock world and continue to rise! Below we take a look at their journey, from the very beginning. Their Band Name When this five-piece group formed in 2011 they decided on a name that connected them together, as a tight knit group of friends. They have strong family values which is a huge influence on the music that they write and play. Their Big Break The band got their first chance when the owner of a hometown bar, The Merchant (https://kingstonlive.ca), saw something special and decided to give them a weekly gig. This is where they were able to perform songs that they were truly passionate about. The Glorious Sons were given an opportunity to show the town of Kingston, Ontario their talents; which then lead them to being signed by Black Box Records. Their Music Their debut full length album came out in 2014, called The Union. This album got them nominated for Rock Album Of The Year at the JUNO Awards in 2015.
