Living on a rural property on the Saanich peninsula, this is naturally where I find my ideas for images. Many are from flowers in my garden, my farm animals, vineyard, and the nearby shoreline.
Diverse in my artistic interests, I paint in watercolour, oil, and acrylic to capture these visual stimuli. I like emotive colours and find it a challenge working the nuances into shapes that ebb and flow.
I am a former art teacher, which means I am always coming up with new ideas to create.
