About
Little Feat
There aren’t many rock ‘n’ roll legends left, and Little Feat is easily one of the very best. Formed three decades ago, their irresistible blend of off-kilter rock, folk-blues, down-and-dirty funk, and the sly lyrics of band founder Lowell George earned them acclaim as “the thinking man’s boogie band.” Even though George died in the early ‘80s the band couldn’t stay apart for long; reunited by 1988, they now have 16 albums to their credit, including Waiting for Columbus, Chinese Work Songs and Dixie Chicken, while their party-down-the-house live performances are among the classiest and most fun-filled in the world of rock. Original Feat-men Bill Payne vocals/keyboard, Paul Barrere vocals/guitar, Sam Clayton vocals/percussion, Kenny Gradney bass and Ritchie Hayward vocals/ drums have been invigorated by the addition of Fred Tackett guitar/ guitar/mandolin/trumpet and Shaun Murphy vocals. Between them, Little Feat’s incomparable legacy of classic songs and robust newer tunes sails on in fine style. Don’t dare miss these guys!Unknown
