JazzTimes Magazine writes that Canadian jazz vocalist Angela Verbrugge "possesses a winsome, brightly burnished, pliable voice, with ample emotional intelligence, considerable songwriting skills, and conspicuously good taste.” Toronto Music Report described, “ a stunning debut album beautifully crafted arrangements in beguiling variety and sensuousness.
