Wise Child

Victoria BC's indie-rock band Wise Child pulls together a dreamy combination of technical, melodic and honest music that reaches deep. With a touch of shoegaze, surf and pop nostalgia, chiming guitar hooks overlie soaring, washed-out rhythm guitar and synth. Wise Child's music will resonate with lovers of Land of Talk, Alvvays, and The War on Drugs.

As of winter 2017, the band is nearing completion of their first full length album with producer Colin Stewart (The New Pornographers, Yukon Blonde, Black Mountain) at The Hive recording studio. Wise Child recorded their debut EP Lucky You in March of 2016 at The Noise Floor on Gabriola Island. Wise Child was named in Vancouver Island’s top 10 for CBC Searchlight 2017, and Victoria’s 2017 top bands on the rise by Victoria’s Do250.
