She has enjoyed several appearances on television shows, in movies, and on CBC Radio; danced with Ballet BC; and performed in Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure, and in Disneyworld.
Robin Eder-Warren is Managing Director for Opera Mariposa, and made her operatic direction debut in 2013 with Mariposa’s La serva padrona, which was called “a masterpiece of controlled mayhem” (Review Vancouver). She went on to direct Donizetti’s Don Pasquale, which was praised as a “well-honed” and “delightful” production and “an excellent harbinger of more well-cast and well-directed operas to come” (Opera Canada). In December she directed Mariposa’s production of Hansel and Gretel, which was hailed as “magical” and “superb” (Social Butterfly Club). This year she founded the West Coast Opera Studio, a new opera studio program that creates performance opportunities for talented students and young artists whose underfunded university programs or personal situations have kept them from the operatic stage.
Robin is also a voice and yoga instructor with her private studio and a summer faculty member at the UBC Summer Vocal Workshop, where she teaches yoga for singers. She continues to lead students in classes and workshops across the Lower Mainland. She is next set to appear as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro with Vancouver Island Opera.
