Chicago Afrobeat Project

This band can’t stand still! While this group stays true to the genre of afrobeat, but perform their music with the intensity of Chicago’s rich musical history. Their inclusion of reggae, jazz, and big beat into their style has kept them fresh and on top of Chicago’s music scene. They’ve performed with members of the Antibalas and in the past with artists such as Bill Kreutzman of the Grateful Dead, Jeff Parker of Tortoise, Steve Kimmock, and many others.
