Michael Moore Trio

This seasoned trio of post-bop vets includes revered bassist Mark Helias and drummer Michael Vatcher. Leader, multi-instrumentalist and clarinetist Michael Moore infiltrated the Dutch music scene in 1978. In 1993 he was commissioned to compose for and perform with cellist Yo-Yo Ma in the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam. Moore has won many awards including placing number one in the 1997, 2000, and 2001 Downbeat critic’s poll for “clarinet”, the Dutch Jazz Award, and the Northsea Jazz Festival’s Bird Award. Moore has an extraordinary trio and will astound audiences at this year’s JazzFest.
