Event Description

Last week we ditched because they wanted to close the place because it was good friday. sorry to anybody who showed up after we left. we didn't wanna take off. anywayz, the first week went so great, and we're totally looking forward to this friday. it's a weekly thing.

Nobody does this kinda stuff in Victoria and I'm not sure why because it's really fun. We make electronic music right there in front of you without the use of turntables or records. We don't make house music. It's mostly the kinda stuff you'd sit to rather than dance to. That's why we picked a cafe. I always laugh when I go into a club and there's this well-dressed DJ playing club hits really loud off a couple LPs, and everybody's sitting around trying to have conversations. it's a funny scene.

if you're into the following artists, you should definately check this show out: brian eno, boards of canada, autechre, aphex twin, manitoba, radiohead, portishead, um... who am i forgetting? a lot of people. aww well.

the other cool thing about this show is it starts early, so you can come out around 7 or 8, have some dinner, grab a couple martinis and take off in time to catch Kube at sugar. that's what i'm gonna do :D

anywayz. see you on friday. be there and be square.
