Doors 7pm / Early Show: 8pm-11pm / $10 advance tickets available at Zulu, Scratch & Red Cat and online HERE: http://www.imuproductions.com/ticket.htmlBe sure to catch the Real McKenzies' triumphant home town return Ceilidh (pronounced kee-lee a Ceilidh, Gaelic for "a wicked party which carries on for days") at Vancouver's Red Room with special guests Raised By Wolves & The Furios at what promises to be "the rowdiest punk show this side of Glasgow!"
The REAL McKENZIES - Fresh off a tour that's recently taken the "guitar-and-bagpipe wailing Celtic punk rock-and-roll" road warriors through Europe with stops in Russia, Scotland, Gemany, Hungary, Czechoslovakia + many more, the Real McKenzies have toured North America six times and Europe (where they draw huge crowds) seven times and have shared stages with Shane MacGowan, Rancid, NOFX, The Misfits, and even Metallica. Always touring, drinking, and rockin', the haggis-fueled McKenzie clan perform in full Highland regalia, deeply rooted in their Scottish heritage with a sound best described as the Sex Pistols meet Scottish folk legend Robbie Burns. http://www.realmckenzies.com
RAISED BY WOLVES - Guided by a holy trinity of pinball, motorbikes and rock 'n' roll, the Wolves' rockin howlin' at the moon is influenced by artists as diverse as Otis Redding, The Clash, The Pointed Sticks and Jerry Lee Lewis. The band revels in obscure references, lifting The Wild One for one of their album titles and using a secret symbol taken from 1964 Twilight Zone episode "Black Leather Jackets". http://www.myspace.com/raisedbywolves
The FURIOS deliver an irresistible blend of ska, reggae, and catchy punk with solid, memorable vocals and empowering, danceable anthems that range from head bobbin' slow skanks to all out, full throttle, pedal-to-the-metal ska romps. Featuring a three piece horn section complemented by distinct songwriters and vocalists, The Furios shine the brightest when seen and heard live. The six piece band rocks, jumps, bumps and dances through set after set creating a party atmosphere that has made them a favorite with audiences. With 11 Canadian tours under their belt and dates on last year's Vans Warped Tour, The Furios have shared stages with Fishbone, Bedouin Soundclash, The Planet Smashers, DOA, The Smugglers and many others. http://www.losfurios.com
